Imposter Brewing Company traces it's roots all the way back to 2016, when owners Chris and Vicki were living abroad, and fell in love with local craft beers that were better than anything else around. The pursuit of good beer followed them around the world, and eventually back to Toronto.
In the dark days of 2020, when one couldn't just go out and find the newest, most exciting craft beer, the only option was to buy a homebrew kit and start making your own! Hobby turned quickly into passion, then into career, into starting businesses, and suddenly Chris and Vicki are opening their own brewery, excited to bring the world of craft beer to small town Ontario.
But what about the name? Should we even be doing this? Imposter Syndrome loomed large, and thus Imposter Brewing Company was born.
